Obituary of Leroy Herbert Roderick Smith

Leroy "Red" Smith Peacefully, after a short illness, at the Rouge Valley Health System in Ajax, on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at age 85. Leroy "Red" Smith, beloved husband of Helen (nee Milowski) of Ajax and formerly of Uxbridge. Loving father of Richard Smith and his wife Vicklyn Hamilton of Ajax, Gregory Smith and his wife Cheryl Mulligan of Courtice, and Diane and her husband John Brito of Phoenix AZ. Loved grandfather of Richard Alexander, Michael, Zackary, Conor, Samantha, and Quinn and great grandfather of Jax. Dear brother of Gordon and his wife June of Florida. Red was predeceased by his brothers Lawrence and Norman. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law. The family of Leroy Smith will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Monday, March 9th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 10th at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Children's Wish Foundation.
