Just learned of the news today (21Aug). My heartfelt condolences to the Edgerton Family. I will always be thankful for the work ethic he instilled upon me as a 14 year old working on the farm. A hard man to keep up with especially during haying season. If you didn't pay attention to how fast he was putting the bales on the conveyor you were apt to get one in the head. I'll never forget having to ride on the stooker one season as it would not properly arrange the bales. I somehow got hung up in the machine was dragged up the field by the leg. Maurice was sitting high and proud on that 2020 John Deere oblivious to me screaming at him to stop.
I honestly think he is still sitting high and proud on that tractor somewhere up yonder.
